Lets cook!

We have had a few cooking sessions lately ... involving lots of sugar!  The key is in the icing it seems.

This cake was made for the flowers - Erin wanted to make flowers out of royal icing (I think this is the first time I have made royal icing!).  They were so heavy!

And one rainy day Erin made bread ... and of course you have to have soup with fresh bread!  Yum!

Desert

Erin had a plan for desert the other night and I couldn't shake her (she had been feeling unwell and I didn't want all that extra sugar going into her system).

She made the most decadent of hot chocolates for herself and her siblings, and I think they all really enjoyed it (sometimes it's too chocolatey, too sweet, too cold, etc etc).
