Flexible Erin

Thursday, August 9, 2018

This year Erin has been working on her flexibility - first to do back bends, then the splits and now to do a walkover (she's not quite there yet).

Erin asked me to take some photos of her for the blog - so here they are!

A catch up post of photos of our recent outdoor activities:-

Lots of bike rides ......

.... and bushwalks.

They both rollerskate around our house and get pretty fast!

This term we have done quite a bit of ice skating too.

After the rains!

Some trampolining.

And of course lots of circus!

Basketball

Sunday, May 6, 2018
Natalie has started basketball at our local YMCA.  She is so keen and so proud of her dribbling skills and every time she gets the ball in the hoop she rejoices!

They have a skills coaching session followed by a short game, and the coach is so good at making sure everyone gets a go at having the ball.

Off to the Circus!

This term the girls have started Circus Skills.  This has been amazing timing for Erin and Natalie, giving them confidence to get out there and "perform" in the fun and safe environment created by Rachel and Andy.

Even at the end of term "show", where there was absolutely no pressure to get up and perform, and both girls were overwhelmed by the number of people there, they both got up and did something.

Natalie hula-hooped 5 hoops to loud cheers!
