I did wonder if the excitement in the days leading up to the big day would wear out the fun of the actual day, but no, she had a wonderful day.
It was a beautiful winter day - cold air and warm sun. We had a party by the lake and big brother Charlie was games-master-extraordinaire (a benefit of having teenagers)
